Setting goals would have to be the last tip to have long term success with your new home business. When you set goals, you will always have that little voice in your head telling you to keep fighting for what you want. It is usually better to write down your goals that way you can kind of give yourself the feeling that your goals are set in stone and not to be broken. Once you accomplish that goal you can set an even higher one for you to achieve.
